Curious about the pet quarantine...?
Looking for information on dogs, cats, fish... really anything you can give me. Is this required of all branches, bases, costs, ect... husband is joining the USMC. How would I find more info?
From what I remember hearing, only pets going to any base on Hawaii need to be quarantined.. this is because the island has a strong hold on stray animals and rabies no longer exists on the island... When I transferred to Pendelton, I wasn't told to quarantine my dogs for a specific period of time, the issue never came up. This was just a couple years ago, it may has changed from then until now.. but I imagine I would of heard, given the times I've moved.
