Watch Under The Knife
Louis Theroux travels out to Los Angeles to examine out the earth of plastic surgical treatment, in which breast enhancements, tummy tucks, muscle implants and the like are common procedures.
Spending time in the surgeries of several plastic surgeons, Louis meets the doctors who carry out the operations and the people who sense they require operate – whether it is a man looking to make his muscles glimpse larger or a woman preparing to undergo medical procedures as part of improving her life. On this occasion nevertheless, Louis also undergoes a method himself to experience it firsthand.
If anyone else decided to have medical procedures as part of a film about plastic medical procedures I could well be incredibly cynical and assume the worst but I think Louis Theroux is unlikely to be accused of cheap tricks or gimmicks. Largely he does a beneficial career of getting in with his subjects and bringing them out in front of the cameras; one could accuse him of manipulating them perhaps but I think that is too harsh a description.
Below he does adequate away from the gimmick of having liposuction to justify it as quite a small part of the show. The rest is interesting if not fascinating. Naturally the patients make for the most interesting scenes and some of them are curious and quite sad. Some are easy targets but Theroux's soft touch prevents it feeling like he is getting at them.
We rarely experience sorry for Brody Jenner, a rich Malibu hottie who stars on The Hills...but today is an exception. See, it just so happens to be Brody's 26th birthday. And instead of spending it downing shots of Patrón and popping bottles of Dom Perignon at a Hollywood warm area, he is getting surgical treatment in the hospital. "Spending my bday in the hospital... This sucks," he twittered. But it's not all bad information for the Brodster. His Playmate ladyfriend Jayde Nicole is there to give him TLC."@jayde_Nicole and I sitting around at the hospital waiting for me to go under the knife 
" he later tweeted. Sad face indeed!
So what's Brody ailing from? Is he going in for a little nip/tuck action? Find out after the leap...No, he is not getting any do the job done to his handsome face. A source tells E! Information that he has appendicitis and is having his appendix taken away, but he is "fine." Think much better, birthday boy!
