Searching For The Ideal 2012 Survival Shelter
Everybody knows eventually there will be an end of the world; but not everybody knows that it is going to be in 2012; and even less people is aware that there is a specific date and it is on December 21. 2012 survival shelter is built to stand against lots of pressure and adverse conditions brought about by the effects of the end of the world. This has been in the prophecies by several ancient cultures, including the bible and is corroborated by many scientific studies.
There is the long list which includes the Mayan calendar, The Bible, the I-Ching, as well as Nostradamus who have made their own conjectures about this disaster. Astronomy also possesses its separate projections depending on pictures from space and various studies on space exploration as well.
Amongst the predictions is the polar shifting, which is said to be sudden and can usher in countless of catastrophes such as giant tidal waves, quakes and volcanic explosions that can eradicate mankind. There is also the polar ice cap being melted which will cause the increase in sea levels and sink many islands and other landforms.
And for you to endure such occurrences, you will need to find sanctuary in higher grounds far away from nuclear plants, whose reactors might explode due to the trembling of the earth; the tectonic fault lines and of course, the volcanoes. But your shelter should be near a water source so that you will have a constant water supply. There is only a little number of places you can mention that are perfect if these things will be your basis for finding a place for refuge. North Africa is the farthest away spot you can name that is truly spaced out from any nuclear plant. After discovering a location for your home, you can start putting up one. It should be tough enough to stand against very strong earthquakes and blasts and should be big enough to shelter people who are members of the survival group.
It should also have room for supplies such as food, clothes, tools, books, etc. there should also be a room for recreation and sports to keep your body healthy and your mind off the depressing problem of disaster. You also have to include a waste disposal unit to keep the place clean and away from diseases.
If doable, find a shelter that will have ample space for an indoor garden where you can grow therapeutic plants like vegetables and fruits so that you may be able to eat fresh foods once in a while even after the catastrophe. Apart from being able to build a shelter, you should also find time to train for survival training as well as land cultivation and hunting food.
Get yourself used to living with no electricity and any electric appliances and gadgets. If you think it is difficult living with no electricity, then make it a point to become knowledgeable of how to make a solar panel and a converter to get an independent power source and hence, still be able to use electrical appliances.
It is also important to have a communication tool that you can use so you may coordinate with other survival groups and be able to help each other out. After the disaster is over and you have emerged from your 2012 survival shelter you can meet up with the other group and together can begin your new task in building a new civilization.
